Getting Started

How does ClosetCloud on-demand storage work?

Download the ClosetCloud app, choose a plan, and pack your items in any sturdy box. We generate a prepaid UPS shipping label so you can drop it off at any UPS location or schedule a pickup. Your box is stored securely at our facility, and when you need it back, just tap Return in the app and we ship it back within 24 hours.

Is ClosetCloud available nationwide?

Yes! ClosetCloud serves customers across all 50 US states. Simply ship your boxes to us using the prepaid UPS label we provide, and we handle the rest from our secure storage facility. No matter where you live in the United States, we can store your belongings.

How do I ship my items to ClosetCloud?

Once you create a box in the app, we generate a prepaid UPS shipping label for you. Print it, tape it to your box, and drop it off at any UPS Store location across the country or schedule a free UPS pickup at ups.com.

How long until my box arrives at storage?

UPS Ground typically takes 2-5 business days depending on your location. You'll get a notification in the app once we receive and check in your box with a photo confirmation.

Pricing & Plans

How much does ClosetCloud storage cost?

Our Starter plan is $9.99/month for up to 3 boxes with $15.00 shipping per box. Our most popular Plus plan is $19.99/month for up to 10 boxes with $12.50 shipping. Our Pro Vault plan is $49.99/month for up to 30 boxes at just $10.00 shipping per box.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes! You can cancel your subscription anytime from your Profile in the app. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. You must retrieve all stored boxes before your subscription ends.

Returns & Access

How do I get my stored items back?

Open the ClosetCloud app, find the box you want returned, and tap the Return button. We ship your box back to any address in the US within 24 hours. You can track the return status in real-time through the app. Return shipping fees apply based on your plan tier.

What if I need my stuff back urgently?

Request a return in the app and we'll ship it out within 24 hours via UPS. For same-day urgent needs, contact our support team - we may be able to arrange local pickup for customers in the NYC area.

Can I get a specific item from my box?

No - boxes are stored as complete units. To access a single item, you'll need to request the return of the entire box. We recommend packing items you might need separately.

Storage Rules

What items can I store with ClosetCloud?

ClosetCloud is perfect for seasonal clothing, sports equipment, holiday decorations, collectibles, books, shoes, and other personal belongings. We accept any items that can be safely shipped via UPS in a sturdy box.

What items can I NOT store?

You cannot store food, liquids, plants, pets, weapons, hazardous materials, flammable items, illegal substances, cash, jewelry, or items valued over $1,000. Check our Terms of Service for the complete list of prohibited items.

Is there a weight limit per box?

Each box should be under 50 lbs for standard shipping rates. Heavier boxes may incur additional shipping fees - contact us before shipping oversized or heavy items.

Insurance & Billing

Is my stuff insured?

Our liability is limited to $100 per box maximum, regardless of actual value. We strongly recommend NOT storing valuable or irreplaceable items. For high-value belongings, we recommend obtaining separate third-party insurance.

What happens if my payment fails?

We'll email you and pause your account. After 90 days of non-payment, we reserve the right to dispose of stored items per our Terms of Service - but we'll always contact you first before taking any action.
